Marketing Director
Cherie (Kissinger) Powell is the marketing director at of Kissinger Associates, Inc., a family-owned and operated business, and a trusted name in the business applications software industry since 1985.
Cherie brings deep knowledge and experience to the marketing leadership of Kissinger Associates, Inc. She has been part of Kissinger from the earliest days when the company was started in her family’s home in 1985. She watched and learned from her dad as she grew up with the business, working as a filing clerk, receptionist, newsletter writer, technical writer, enhancement software catalog designer, software tester, and sales representative. After completing her formal education in 1995, she joined the company as Kissinger’s marketing manager.
As marketing director she is responsible for the creation of all customer-facing website content, company communications and promotional campaigns, and the development of channel partner marketing programs and events,
From 2016-2021, Cherie served as the company’s board chair, and worked closely with Darryl Kissinger on the company’s plan for transition to second generation family business leadership. Cherie is also a former president of the company, serving in that role from 2021 to 2024.
Cherie holds an MBA with a marketing concentration from The Pennsylvania State University and a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business management & administration from Alvernia University. She lives in Schuylkill Haven, Pennsylvania, where she is happiest when she is spending time with her husband (Joseph Powell) and their children.
