Is a Compatibility Update required?
The short answer is that for users of Certified Payroll, a compatibility update is not required, but users of Union Payroll Automation will need to install a compatibility update in order to continue using the enhancement after the Sage 100 2.22.1 payroll update is installed. Which versions of Certified Payroll are compatible?
Kissinger Certified Payroll 2021, 2020, 2019, and 2018 are compatible with the Sage 100 Payroll 2.22.1 update.
This means that a compatibility update is not required for any of our Certified Payroll releases. Your Certified Payroll solution will continue to be compatible with Sage 100 or Sage 100cloud after the Sage 100 payroll update is applied.

Compatibility update required for Union Payroll Automation
There is a Sage 100 Payroll 2.22.1 compatibility update available for users of our Union Automation enhancement for Sage 100 and Sage 100cloud. The compatibility update for your release level should be installed after the Sage 100 Payroll 2.22.1 update is installed.
- Compatibility update UAP70004.exe is available for Sage 100 2021
- Compatibility update UAP62006.exe is available for Sage 100 2020
- Compatibility update UAP61011.exe is available for Sage 100 2019
Please contact your Sage business partner to install the appropriate Union Automation compatibility update for Sage 100 Payroll 2.22.1.
