The Challenge: The Need for Faster Online Order Processing
In 2015, with the launch of their new e-commerce website (www.trubeautyconcepts.com) quickly followed by the implementation of Sage 100, many of their online ordering processes were still heavily manual.
“Even with Sage, there were lots of keystrokes to process our online orders. We have over 8,000 SKUs in our warehouse, so you can imagine for one customer service representative to memorize all of them was impossible. We needed a fully automated way to allow our customers to order, offer special pricing to different customer types, and significantly reduce the time it took to process orders,” explains Allegra Novotny, Chief Financial Officer for TruBeauty Concepts.
However, with the specialized nature of their products and the customers they serve in the beauty industry, TruBeauty needed a strong Sage 100 eCommerce integration solution that would enable the complex B2B pricing levels to be reflected on their online storefront.

Even now, 8+ years later, Kissinger is still an integral part in making sure our online ordering system is as fast and accurate as possible,” shares Allegra.
For almost a decade, their Web-Stor integration and automation has positioned TruBeauty to continue to scale their sales without having to hire new customer service staff.
“75% of our sales come through our website, so with Web-Stor we’ve been able to reduce the time it takes to process an order from 5-7 minutes to under a minute.
