Sage 100 Senior Business Consultant Requirements

The Senior Business Consultant reports to the ERP Solutions Manager and works closely with other Consultants, Sales Administrator, Business Development Manager, and suppliers to service our Sage 100 and 100cloud ERP light manufacturing, wholesale, retail, and services clients.


  • Provide expert consultative guidance to prospective ERP clients.
  • Implement, train, and support new Sage 100 and 100cloud software systems.
  • Provide consultative help on business operation and accounting topics.
  • Nurture account relationships for ongoing product and services revenues.
  • Work independently in support of department goals and objectives.
  • Occasional travel to customer locations (primarily Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey).

Required Skills/Experience

  • Experience in the full Sage 100 and 100cloud sales cycle.
  • Experience implementing, training, and supporting Sage 100 and 100cloud.
  • Fluency in accounting and general business operations topics is critical.
  • Strong communications and project management skills are a must.

Beneficial but not Required Skills/Experience

  • Certifications Sage 100, Sage 100cloud, or other Sage products.
  • Experience in Sage 100 and 100cloud Manufacturing and Sage CRM.
  • Experience with Acumatica or Acumatica certifications.
  • Exposure to systems integration or eCommerce integration to Sage 100.
  • Working knowledge of SQL or MySQL.

This is a full-time position. Remote work is acceptable with the expectation that the selected candidate will participate (at a minimum) in monthly Company Meetings events at our Centerport, PA Corporate Office. Travel for additional trips to the Corporate Office (especially during the first few months of employment), client locations, and industry events may be required.
